Vienna, August 3, 2012 – The Vienna Symphonic Library has become the latest in the growing ranks of developers transitioning from boxes to downloads and hard drive options.

As of August 3, 2012, customers can now order complete DVD collections (Level 1 and Level 2) for immediate download or order the VSL hard drive.

With the hard drive option, Vienna customers receive the installation files of all Vienna Instruments Collections on a 640GB USB hard drive containing more than 1.2 million orchestral samples. Users registered serial numbers unlock the corresponding Instruments Collections on the Vienna hard drive, while also giving access to the User Area where all of their purchased products are also available for download.
